Just bring your boots, bike, or skis and take to the trail for serenity or adventure. The two by fours were laid flat together, so there were no nails sticking up. This trail is fabulous! My husband was impressed at the construction of the bridges. To reach the eastern trailhead in Westline from the intersection of US 6 and US 219 in Kane, head north on US 219/Pittsburgh-Buffalo Hwy., and go 5.1 miles. The largest number of structures, primarily commercial buildings, featuring Neo-Classical, Colonial Revival, Romanesque and Art Deco architecture were built between 1880 and 1920.
